Volunteer With Circle of Friends

There are many meaningful ways to get involved at Circle of Friends, and every form of support helps make belonging possible for our students and families. Whether you bring a creative skill, a willingness to lend a hand, or leadership experience to share, your time and talents can make a real difference.

Our volunteer opportunities are designed to honor student safety, accessibility, and dignity while creating space for community members to contribute in ways that feel aligned and purposeful. Below, you’ll find several ways to get involved. We invite you to explore what resonates and complete the form to let us know how you’d like to support our work.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

CREATIVE ARTS & ENRICHMENT VOLUNTEERS

We welcome community members who have talents, skills, or creative practices to share in ways that thoughtfully enrich our school program. This may include authors, musicians, artists, performers, or community arts partners who are interested in expanding creative arts and elective-style experiences for our students.

Past partnerships have included local music studios sharing piano performances from their student body and conversations with authors interested in reading with our students, either on campus or at nearby community spaces like the public library. These collaborations help broaden our students’ exposure to the arts while honoring safety, accessibility, and individual support needs.

CAMPUS & SERVICE PROJECT VOLUNTEERS

Circle of Friends also welcomes individuals, employee groups, and community organizations interested in supporting our campus through service-based projects. These opportunities do not involve direct student care and are an important way to support our school environment.

Recent examples include corporate volunteer teams assisting with campus beautification, outdoor cleanup, and organization projects that help maintain a welcoming, safe, and functional space for students and staff. Because we do not have dedicated facilities or grounds staff, these service projects make a meaningful difference and allow our educators to remain focused on student care and learning.

JOIN A COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBERSHIP

Share your skills and leadership by serving on a committee focused on fundraising, events, community engagement, or school development. Your involvement helps strengthen and sustain Circle of Friends for years to come.

Volunteer Participation & Safety: For the safety and well-being of our students, all volunteers must complete required screening and background checks prior to participation. Volunteer roles are assigned based on safety considerations, individual qualifications, and the needs of the school.
